Health & Safety policy

The primary aim of the health & safety policy of Alpenbau GmbH is to minimise the risks associated with coming into contact with any substances that might be dangerous and any risks associated with technical plant and machinery in order to guarantee the continuing health of our employees, clients and service providers.

It is for this reason that in our organisation the same value is placed on work safety practices and health protection measures as is on quality and environmental protection.

For each of our projects, we exercise our duty to meet all the relevant safety measurements according to law in relation to work and health and safety practices and to comply with all the appropriate standards and accident prevention regulations.

Occupational safety and health protection is an integral component of the process. This enables the systematic identification and minimisation of dangers and thereby reduces the risk of accidental hazards.

Our projects are carried out with a high level of both active and passive safety measurements. Alpenbau GmbH sees it as its duty to permanently try to reduce the high levels of risk which are part and parcel of the building industry.

Through methodical further training and schooling our employees are expected to carry out their duties in a safety conscious manner. The occurrence of accidents and accident black spots are evaluated and the feedback and information provided by the employees is used in order to further improve the safety standards.

All of our senior level employees are obliged to live out our safety practices and procedures as well as our health and safety policy in an active and responsible fashion.

Safety practices and procedures and health and safety policies are regular items on our meeting agenda. In order to implement our safety practices and procedures and health and safety policies, we continuously confront ourselves with the aims of our policies.

The next step in relation to safety practices and procedures as well as health and safety policies was the implementation of the OHSAS standard, which monitors the safety standards and draws attention to recommendations or areas of improvement.

The health and safety of our valued employees, clients and service providers is of the utmost importance to us. To maintain this is our top priority, over and above the measurements foreseen in the regulations by law, as we are operating in an area which has high levels of risk.
